Waiting for Wednesday

It is official everyone.
My call has been assigned.
My mission call has been assigned.

I have to say it twice or it doesn't sink in enough.
Do you know why?
That means that Wednesday {fingers crossed} I will have that big, white envelope that contains my fate.

I've watched countless numbers of friends hold their own white envelope in their hands.
I've even held a few of theirs.
But it has never said my name on it.
It's never had my calling in it.

Until now.
I've been thinking about it all day.
How it's been assigned.
It's done.
That the mission department and the apostles all know where I'm going.
They assigned it for heavens sakes.

But how, starting tomorrow and continuing until Sunday, I get to listen to them speak.
We all do.
It's General Conference guys.

That means that some of the people who have assigned my call, who prayed for me this week, will be speaking to the world.
They will be guiding, teaching, prompting, enlightening, and shocking people from all over the world.

I am so eager for Wednesday and anxious and just full of emotion.
But you know what makes me feel better?

*The peace I found at the temple today as I sat there.
*The appreciation for temples I gained singing this song in LDV.
*The fact that I get to wake up in the morning and watch conference.
*I get to hear from so many apostles and the prophet.
*The people who knew exactly where to send me.
*To send me to serve the Lord.
*They know where it is.
*I don't and neither do you.

But it 5 short days,
we all will.

**Want to watch conference with me? Tune in right here and I promise you won't regret it**
