I finished my stay at Utah State for probably 2 years, or maybe forever last week.
As I was getting ready to leave, I just was feeling that I may not be back when I return from Washington. I don't know why though. But I am okay with it. I really enjoyed my 2 years in Logan and it treated me so well. I will cherish Logan as the place that showed me how to be me, who I was, and how to stick up for that. I was feeling nostalgic my last day on campus, and it helped that campus is so pretty in the spring. That place was such a great experience and prepared me so well for my next adventure.
I moved home and back in with my family. Life has been crazy since then. I got all unpacked, been to 2 soccer games and a basketball game and...
Lizzie came to spend a few days with me. We missed each other after a day okay? Whatever. She was a good sport and went mission shopping with me for two days straight. I was so successful though you guys. I thought mission shopping would be ridiculously hard but, It's not! All I have left is rain boots and a coat and a few more shirts. Whoa! I'm thrilled about that. And I LOVE all my new clothes. Shopping sprees are so fun. Seriously.
Then, after a lot of stress and freak outs. I cut my hair. While I only cut off like 2 and a half inches, it has taken me about 6 years to grow those out. Not joking. So it was sad to see them go, and just cross my fingers that they would be back. I like my new hair cut, but it takes a while to get used to ya know? It just doesn't go to a bun as easily and doesn't roll over my shoulder anymore. But, it's just hair. That is what I keep telling myself. I'm anxious to see some reactions though. I've looked the exact same to most of my friends so I guess I'm just excited about the change.
I have loved being able to see family all the time. My aunt was here from Texas when I moved home and it was fun to go shopping with her then have a BBQ with the rest of the family that day.
I'm glad to be home for the next 2 months before I leave. It's exciting and so fun. Everything is just working out so well. I'm so happy about that. I loved being able to talk to my missionaries on Sunday. Who knew Mothers day could be a favorite holiday before you're even a mom? This year it definitely is. This is the last time I will hear Mike's and Mal's voice for 20 months. The next time will be in person!
