I love to see the temple...

I finally went inside...

While much of what happens inside the temple is not talked about due to it's sacred nature, I still was amazed by how much I did not expect it.Going inside the temple was nothing like I thought it would be.

The peace that is present inside those walls is piercing. It is almost tangible.
I had been told and had pounded into my brain that
"The greatest blessing the temple brings is peace."
That was so right.

The first time is overwhelming since you didn't know what to expect and there is so much information.
But you know what, it is still amazing.

So yes, I now wear garments like an adult would.
Yes, I don't feel old enough for that to be happening.
I feel so mightily blessed to have received my endowments.

I loved going through with my mom as my escort, and thinking about when she went through for the first time with her mom.

I loved getting to see the inside of that beautiful house and having my dad tell stories about his dad in the temple doing sealings.

I also loved hearing about when my parents were sealed and being in the same places they were.

Going through the Salt Lake temple was the right choice.
It was just as beautiful inside as it is out.
Even with all the tulips in bloom outside.
And it was like magic how we got inside the temple!
Am I right? Like who knew it was underground?

What a blessing you guys.
The next step in my mission preparation is my farewell.
Which happens to be June 23rd.
Yes, 3 weeks before I actually leave.
(I didn't pick this)
I've started to brainstorm what I am going to say at that.
What a daunting task.
Goodness.
And I have to pick my topic?
What??
Pray for me.

Blessings are so real you guys.
I am so incredibly blessed.
