I feel lucky that most of the people that I would have really tough goodbyes with are already gone.
What a blessing that turned out to be.
However there were some really tough that had to be done.
Now obviously the toughest will be my family but, I won't be here to write about it so just remember that.
I did however say goodbye to my brother Andrew early since he headed out on trek this morning.
It was quick and very uneventful.
But that doesn't mean he's still not the best.
It is so weird to me that when I get back he could potentially have his mission call.
And if not, he will be on his way to getting it.
Then he is on his way to wherever he will serve!
Love that brother of mine.

Lizzie and I actually had 2 goodbyes. We said our tearful goodbyes after my farewell but then she surprised me my last weekend home and spent it with me. What a champ. I was so excited that she was there. We did a quick goobye the second time because I had an interview I had to be at and we had a very long goodbye before. We had said what we needed to and all was well. You have to start a goodbye somewhere right? But I love this girl to death. It has been a very entertaining 6 months being best friends with that fiend. #garysforlyfe
Ellen and I have done this goodbye thing a lot so we are pros at it by now. She will actually be at my setting apart tonight so we haven't officially said our goodbyes but we had our last hurrah tonight. We got snow cones and had life chats about where we will be in 18 months. Life is getting real here and I am very excited about it. But I love that Ellen girl. She puts up with a lot and I definitely couldn't do it. I can't wait to see her in 18 months and what she is up to.
While Mike and I already said our goodbyes, we said goodbyes to our "former lives", when I wasn't a missionary and when we both didn't live in Washington {Update, his mission has not changed so we are safe and in different missions. Neighboring missions and both in WA but separate. Phew} But that kid is so adorable.
| Miss you too. :) |
