I'm next!

Well it's Wednesday guys which means this time next week,

I'll be a missionary.

Is that the craziest thought ever?

I am so excited but I'm definitely getting more anxious.

I just feel like there is so much to do and not nearly enough time.

I don't know how people do this when they have all of their friends here that they need to say goodbye to.

Luckily, most of mine are already gone and that part is taken care of.

These next few days I will be:

• Running around to different stores to buy those last minute things that slipped my mind until now. And let me assure you that I would be lost without them. Like a bag. What missionary forgets to bring a bag??Laundry baskets, hangers, scripture markers. All that fun stuff.
• Getting a quick haircut so my hair is manageable again
• Going to the temple with my aunt
• Lengthening skirts because I am just too tall for the below the knees thing
• Attempting to start packing but probably just getting way too overwhelmed with how much crap I really have to bring.
• Cleaning up my room and bathroom so it's nice for when Mal gets home. {So weird that she will be home when I am}
• Mailing all sort of paper work now that my mission presidents can contact us {And boy have they ever!}
• Singing at a fireside for the last time
• Saying goodbye to my brother since he leaves on trek and won't be back before I leave
• Saying quick hello's and goodbye's to my family from Texas who will be in town next week
• Delivering lots of Thank You's
• Wearing shorts as much as possible 
• Celebrating the 4th with family and fireworks!
• Washing all my clothes and finding places for all of them
• Writing my last letters to all my missionary friends as "Haley" next time it will be "Sister Goaslind" or "Sister Sister 2.0"
• Saying goodbye to my dog Fred. I've been promised he won't be here when I get back. In fact he won't be here when I'm even in the MTC. 
• Putting my phone away for 18 months. Edith has been good to me.{Yes, I just barely named my phone Edith}
• Saying goodbye to this bloggity blog over here. Remember that you can follow my adventures over here while I am gone
• So many other things. My head is just trying to comprehend it all and make sure I get it all done. 

Yikes guys.

This is it!

Last week until everything changes forever.

How weird is that thought?

I will leave in a week and serve for 18 months as Sister Goaslind.

I will come back a Returned Missionary

All my friends and my sister will be back and life really happens.

Goodness.

I'm excited.
