Feeling Stupid

So have you seen this video? (I'm sure you have, if you haven't, have you heard of Kony2012? It was almost that big...)

Well, a friend told me that this video was mine and Mike's relationship so of course I watched it.
He asks the question and I thought,
"Wow, good for them for having intelligent conversation. And good for her for being so willing to answer difficult math questions like that...."
Yeah..
Then I continue to listen to her argument on why she is right. (Because the girl is ALWAYS right. Mike did learn that pretty fast.) Now all but her running a mile in 7 minutes at 10 mph and how flat or full the tires are and how they turn 400 times in a mile, I was totally impressed with the things she was coming up with. She is smart and is totally going to answer this right!
The video ended and I still didn't get it.
So Mike and I go to lunch and I tell him about this video and how it was "us" apparently.

Then I tell him my reaction and he goes...
"Wait, you really don't get it?"
No. I don't get it. Is there something to get, really?
So anyway, we spent the rest of lunch, the drive to the apartment and about a half hour of chalk drawing with him trying to explain how this is "simple math" (Math is NEVER simple.) and I could figure this out.
He tried to make me feel better by giggling and saying, "Oh you're so cute." and laughing "with" me but really I knew he was saying this is seriously pathetic, I thought this was common sense and really laughing AT me. It's okay. I wasn't offended.
Anyway, I was banned from drawing with chalk on such a lovely day until I could figure it out. I finally got to when I answered his question,
"You are driving 50 mph and need to go 100 miles then need to drive 25 more miles. (He added the 25 more miles when I answered all too quickly with 2 hours)
Two and a half hours, guys. That is the answer.
Now can I go back to just leaving my house early enough to get to my destination?
