First of all, Jenna came to Logan for the week. The WHOLE week. It was so much fun! She drove up with us on Sunday and came back down with me on Friday.
Monday was such a beautiful day. Logan was warm and sunny and just beautiful. So naturally I tapped out of most of my classes after Music and Institute with Mike. We decided to just walk home instead and we picked up Jenna. Then we rode the bus all the way around campus to get up to Mike's car. Which we could have just walked straight up the hill. We are that cool.
Then that night we went to dinner for my roommate Jen's birthday! Our birthday dinners are always the best!
Then on Tuesday Jenna and I had lots of time since I only have one class on that day. We went tanning then to lunch at none other than Chili's. Seriously where else would we go?
It was so much fun to have Jenna there in Logan. I forgot how much time I spend doing nothing just because she isn't there anymore. I mean I like having my free time and my "me time" but it was so fun to come home and have a friend there to hang out with. Then she decided to move back up next semester! Which is great news. Especially because Mike will be leaving for two years remember? Once Jenna left, I spent almost all of my time with him and when he decided to serve a mission I was going to be abandoned. I was feeling like most of the Seniors probably felt last year, leaving all of their friends and their old life. I always knew my best friends would be coming up to Utah State and wasn't worried but that quickly was changing when Jenna moved home then quickly after that Mike was leaving. Both had more than valid reasons to but I was scared. haha yeah. I'm that lame. I am more myself when there are people there that know me better than myself, and they were all leaving. But! Jenna is coming back! That is the point of that rant.
Anyways, back to my week, we just hung out really. Nothing too exciting at least that I remember. I came home and it's Spring Break so I'm home for the week! I've had a pretty fun weekend actually! Friday I hung out with Mike and his family. We got sushi and talked. They are hilarious. Seriously I've never had so much fun in my life then I do with them. They all love to harass me about never eating out only eating chicken. Then when they ask me if I want something I always say, "I'm okay." And his dad, Dave always says, "I know you're okay but do you want one?" haha it seriously is so funny. They are all such sweethearts to me. Mike's brother just got back from his mission in Mexico and I met him last weekend. He is hilarious. It's nice to have someone else giving Mike crap for once. He is a good kid. That family is just the best.
Saturday, I took my brothers bowling and it was a good time. It's always a good time.
Then I went to dinner with Mikes family again. They are the best. :) It was a lot of fun. His little niece Ellie is the cutest. She is seriously the cutest girl. And she loves me and I love that. She just couldn't sit close enough to me at dinner and she kept singing Sexy and I Know It. Seriously. She is the most adorable little girl.
I may or may not have a stalker picture of her that somehow ended up on my computer but I won't put it up. Just imagine. :)
Today, I went to Mike's brothers, Nate's, homecoming. Due to daylight savings my alarm didn't go off at 715 but rather 815 then I didn't get up for another 15 minutes so when I'm about to tame my giganicly huge poofy hair when my phone says it's 845. The church started at 9. Needless to say, I was late. But Mike waited for me but then we had to take the walk of shame to the front of the chapel. That was fun. Then we spent the afternoon at his house, hanging out. I meant lots of his family and played with Ellie a lot because she is the cutest. Duh. It was really fun to hang out with his whole family and meet everyone. Then I had a family party for Andrew and Spencer's birthdays with my family. It was a good time. I'm looking forward to the week to do nothing. That is my boring recap. More power to you if you read that whole thing.
