The 4th Festivities

I absolutely love the 4th of July. I would argue it is one of my 2nd favorite holidays. (How do I decide between Christmas & presents, The 4th & fireworks, and New Years & Sparklers/loud noises?)

So I was pretty excited about it. Last year, I went to the Bee's game for some real American stuff. Okay, Basically just baseball. But they did do a ton of fireworks that was awesome!

Now the only reason I tell you that is so that I can put that picture up and you can take a gander at my outfit.
It's one of the many reasons I love the 4th.

Fast forward to this year and it was very different.
My cousins are all here from Texas so we've bee hanging out with them a lot.
We had Ice cream for dinner one night then watched the Bachelorette, We had a birthday party with Snow Cones,

Then we had a bbq party for the 4th. We really just ate and ran around until we went to see fireworks.
There is my favorite outfit that can only be worn on this day, suspenders and all!!

We got some glow sticks before leaving...

Then we went to a firework show that we are very lucky we got to have due to the fireworks..

And that was the end. The show played a ton of good music including Comin' to Merica...TODAY. Best song...

Then as the week went on we continued to have some family activities and other celebrations.
The first was a very hot zoo day but actually pretty fun. I love the zoo. And they just finished Rocky Shores which finally brought the Bears back!!
It was really really hot...

Then! As it's a tradition in my family, we went to the Oakley Rodeo on Saturday.
We were treated with Steer wrestling, bull riding, bareback riding, some awesome country music, even  a clown, even though I miss the Wild Child.

And we treated them with the best Rodeo get ups around.
The whole fam participated this year. Way to go.
Me and my cousin matched. And she lives in Texas and is 16 so I'm not letting anyone date her. So don't even ask.

Then I got Tuck to sit on my lap. He was so hyper. He was loving taking pictures while we were there and Mal and I were laughing so hard. Here are some of his best shots.

After this I tried to show him how we take pictures of ourselves and I got shown up.

It really was the worlds funniest thing.
Then we got another firework show even after we didn't think they'd be able to do any this year!
All in all it was a great 4th!

Happy burfday Merica!
