Halloweenies

Well, it's October and almost Halloween. So Jenna has been itching for scary movies every night. So, we've watched a lot. Well a lot for me who doesn't really enjoy scary movies at all. I get way too freaked out. However, I've been a big girl lately and i'd say I've done pretty well considering I used to hide under my blanket the whole time.

That is my Satan face. Pretty good huh?

The first one we watched was Scream with Mike and Kyle. We started this one at like 1130 and I was already tired. Needless to say, I slept through the bulk of it. I saw the beginning and it was pretty scary. The girl is freaking hanging in a tree after she's been knifed to death. I got scared. And apparently I was squeezing Mikes hand really hard. I had no idea. But hey, it's better then just screaming every two seconds.


Next was Disturbia. I absolutely LOVE this movie! Yes people this is one of my top 10 favorites I'd say. And it's scary. Yeah. I like that this one isn't just like crap your pants scary the whole time. The end is, yes. And that is how it should be. I want to be able to enjoy the movie without just begging for it to end sometime soon. This one does a great job with that. I actually want to watch it. Love it. And Shia Lebouf is super sexy the whole movie. woof.


Then we watched Signs. That movie is so stupid. Like so stupid. I slept through a little of this too. (Mono is back? yeah.) It was a good idea but those alien things are so stupid. They are just gross. They aren't even scary. At all. And it just breaks my heart that both dogs have to die. Come on. Let one of them live! And the kid with asthma is an awful actor. It doesn't happen that way. I would know. Whatever. And I am never scared in this movie. Ever. So really it's just awful.


Last but not least (so far) was Insidious. Yeah. We watched this last night. It is officially awarded the Weirdest movie ever made! This beat out I am Number 4 and Stardust. Yeah. That's impressive. Yeah. I was scared and it was pretty jumpy and it did it's job but seriously. I think I laughed more through it then I was scared. It didn't help that Jaron was being way funny through it. "I don't like that red faced guy" "Those girls are scary." "Did he have hooves? And they just had to show those? Couldn't they have just left those out?" It was just messed up. No doubt the people making this got way bored at the end of it. I don't want to ruin it for any of you that want to watch it. Watch it. It's definitely one you have to see but it's going to be different then you expect. Guaranteed. This movie includes: Red fire faced guy, Old wrinkly grandmas in veil, Puppeteers, the underworld, fog and gliding men into the underworld, the ghost busters, an elephant mask that calls the underworld, and so much more. You are just in for a treat if you watch it. That's the point.
