Boring...

The new year has started out a little rough this time around. Maybe 2012 is my bad luck charm. Who knows. However it got better. New years Eve was pretty fun. But nothing exciting. Mike and I went to my family party and had dinner then played a game which he almost won 5 dollars but felt bad and let my brother win. Then we left and went to Kyle's party. It was the bro's so naturally I just stood there, silent. They played water pong without actually drinking the water. yeah.. I thought that was the point too, even if it didn't get you wasted, you would have to pee eventually. But no. They just threw the ping pong ball. That's it. For 2 hours. 2 minutes before midnight they decided they could take a break. We counted down from 5 and then it was the new year. Super anti-climactic if you ask me. I didn't feel excited or anything. That was the first time in my life. I think I miss going outside and banging pots and pans and screaming like a ninny. I love New Years Eve but I didn't love this year. I don't know.
Then I had a 1230 curfew, yes I'm 18, moved out and fully capable of driving myself places but my parents decided to be "nice" and give me an extra half hour. Nice right?...
I get home to an empty house. That's right people. To put a cherry on top of everything, I beat my parents and little brothers home on new years eve by probably 15 minutes. It's fine. Pintrest helped me bring in the new year.
Then I got really frustrated that night and started thinking, naturally. That wasn't good. But I woke up in a bad mood because of my thoughts and was already in a a bad mood. Jenna, Sarah and I drove out to Ogden for Mitch, from d2's farewell. On the way I got some disappointing news and it just added to my already bad news. I just don't know why people don't think sometimes.
Anyway, I had a crappy day.
But! Britt came down to SLC with us! It was so fun to see her again and to show her our homes and families and town. We spent Sunday with the fam's having dinner, watching movies and playing games. Headbandz really. Fun game.

We stayed up till 2 then slept on Jenna's couch. 

The next day we took Britt to Target since Logan doesn't have one. Bummer. Then we went to Training Table. mmm... Love that place. I ate way too much.

We spent the rest of the day going to people's houses. We went to Loni's and Mike's just to show Britt where we spend most of our time when we're not home. 

Then we had a Bachelor party to start off the new season but we didn't start that till about 9. Then we sat around. A little boring but it's hard to come up with ideas. 

Britt and I went to my house to sleep and woke up the next morning and had breakfast then went to the post office to send off Jaron's Christmas present. 

Then after finding out that no one has puppies in a pet store anymore we went to the Aquarium! It was fun! There were the cutest little seahorses and penguins and a turtle! 

Then we drove downtown to the Planetarium to find out the news broadcasting thing is gone. Bummer. But we had fun there. It was fast though.

We walked around Gateway for a while then Mike treated us to CPK. What a nice kid right? I didn't even know what to say so I just kinda sat there. 

We talked about exciting things except they didn't think my Whale watching experience was very cool.

I loved it.

We came home and played with lite bright! We made a whale...

Then we had nothing to do so Britt headed for home and Mike and I watched George of the Jungle.

Good one.

It was so fun to have Britt here! I loved hanging out with her and showing her around. It made me really excited to go back to Logan. Only 3 more days!!! Can't wait. :)
