This past weekend, my sister came to Logan.
I was so excited to have someone who knew me and everything about me back in this town.
We did lots of exciting things.
Attended a Fish's 3rd birthday party.
Happy Birthday Ryan-Fish.
We had gummi worms, sweedish fish, and Sushi (rice krispies and fruit roll ups) to celebrate.
Ate lots of food at lots of places!

The perfect chin rest.
We even fed the ducks. And it's a good thing too. We owed them after the next adventure.
We watched Crazy, Stupid, Love. AKA the best movie. I decided it's right up there with Sweet Home Alabama.
We had giant sleepovers and we laughed. We laughed hard.
Only because we were thriving.
And because you know what?
YOLO.
Mal and Kaitlin unfortunately had to leave early Sunday and they missed our adventures at Bloomington Lake.
Who remembers this day?
When Mike and I got stuck in the snow for 4 hours with no way out?
Remember when his bumper ripped off?
Well that is where we went.
Hilary, Aubree, Lauren and I.
All my sisters friends but I am so glad that they are mine now too.
I'm very glad I got to spend the weekend with them.
We started by going to church and getting a lovely lesson on keeping the Sabbath day holy.
Then we hurried home, changed, had some lunch and headed on our way.
Bloomington Lake is in Idaho, just passed Bear Lake in a town called, "Bloomington- Population 206"
You have to drive about a half hour up a dirt road, hence why when mixed with snow, Dodge Stratus' do not make it.
But we made it!
You then hike about ten minutes in then there it is!
Gorgeous right?
You know why it's so gorgeous?
It's formed from a glacier...
Just behind us in the picture, were the cliffs we jumped off of.
It took about 45 minutes for us to all actually jump and about 30 minutes for us to get all the way over there.
We hiked in our swimsuits and partly without shoes one and even had to swim a little bit.
It really was so much fun!
But I cannot even begin to tell you how cold it was.
I think I may have gotten a little taste of what it felt like when the Titanic sank.
You hit the water and it smacks you.
You come up, paddling as fast as you can, trying to get your arms and legs to just keep moving.
You try and catch your breath because your body is in shock.
Holy cow you guys.
It was fun though and I'm glad I did it.
After we jumped, we had to hike to our towels and shoes.
I've never scaled a mountain so fast in my life.
I wanted that towel and I wanted it now!
We were all very cold but it was such a fun adventure.
Just spur of the moment, let's go to the Lake!
Before we were wet.
After, bundled and Commando.
On the way home we ran over a duck.
A duck.
Not a bird.
We heard it's bones crunch and turned around and saw it flat on the ground, feathers flying.
RIP Ducky Duck.
But thanks new friends! I am so glad I got to go with you guys and finally actually get to the Lake and experience it's beauty and unbelievable temperatures.
You are thriving. Let's go on another adventure again soon!
