Everybody cut Footloose

Last Night. and A little this morning. I experienced my first college party. 80's style. Needless to say. It was awesome.

Jenna and I were so excited for the festivities-that started at 9- that we got home from Chili's at 7 and started getting ready. YES. Two hours in advance. We poofed our ponytails, ratted our hair, wiped blue eye shadow that we miraculously owned on our face along with purple lipstick which yes, I owned. We added some hot pink blush and moved on to the dress attire.

Now apparently all of Logan was at the DI yesterday picking out 80's clothes but Jenna and I being the champs we are, literally had 80's clothes that we brought to college. Yes, we packed them with our "important things to take to college" and it turned out that we used them in the first week.

I had BRIGHT pink leggings and a gray tank top with a hot pink striped shirt with the word LOVE across the front. Very classy, I know. This was completed with some gray leg warmers, black shorts, and nice white tennis shoes.

Jenna was rocking a blue shirt-off the shoulder- with a silver belt, some black leggings and gray leg warmers and some green and yellow high tops and then completed the look right before we left with a winner of  a vest. If you can imagine Sloan from Ferris Bueller then you will imagine Jenna last night.

Lynds was one of the highlights of my night. She came over ten minutes before we were leaving and Jenna and I went ape on her. She got some hot pink leggings with turquoise shorts. Then a white tank top and a cheetah print vest. That's not even the best part. We put the blue eye shadow over her perfectly shaped eyes for such a task, pink blush, and purple lipstick. But then, Jenna put her bump it in her hair. Yes, not only did Lynds wear a bump it, Jenna owns one! Then we curled her bangs and poofed those. Honestly, I've never seen her look so nice in my life.

Then we proceeded to the dance with DJ Marcus Wing-cool name, I know. We hung around in the back of the crowd to avoid death but then we found Mike and Kyle who pulled us in to the dead center. Now this was fine for a while but then DJ Marcus Wing decides to put "Blow" by Ke$ha on. Great song. Bad decision being in the middle. I got attacked. I've  never felt short in my life, until then. Everyone was jumping, crashing, bashing and being idiots. Then they would jump as high in the air as possible during the chorus. Now how did they get up so high? They used MY shoulders! This made it impossible for me to jump with the crowd so I just got stomped on like a pile of ants. It was so stressful. I got out of there at the end of that song and danced  along the back of the crowd the rest of the night. They played some GREAT songs. The 80's were great. Lets just say that. It was a very very fun night. Plus , dressing up is the best.

College is just the best. Today- we are headed to the 5K Mud run. It is going to be awesome! We are going to get muddy and dirty and I'm so excited! :) Then we're off to The Rocket Summer!
