I got up early Saturday morning and went to breakfast with Jake since this is one of the last times I'll see him before he ships off to Australia. Well, the MTC first, but still. It was great to see him. He's so tall, looks the same, still super fly, but he's a lot taller then I remembered. We had nice chats, just caught up, ate some scones which he made me put honey butter on. That we made. It was delicious.

I returned home for a little bit then got a hold of Peter. I immediately went to house and was with him all night. Keep in mind I went over at about 1230. Yeah. I went to his voice recital that was in this gigantic house. It was out of control. Gate, courtyard, orchard, giant door, big foyer, just amazing. I loved it. Then his voice teacher sang this song he wrote to sing at his daughters weddings called "Daddy's Last Dance" and it was so cute. It was about a dad giving his daughter away. I almost cried. No joke. It was adorable and I want it.
We went back to his house and did some singing. His family is insanely musical and if you don't sing in his house then something is wrong. It was so fun. Then we went to BHS. That's right. My Alma Mater. Class of 2011. I went with Brighton High Schools Chamber Choir to Park City. On a bus, a school bus. It was crazy. It was amazing to see some people, like Sariah and Smith and Caitlin but then not as fun to see other people.
Like Tim and Sterling. They are still sooo immature. I was not impressed.

Anyway, I rode the bus up, reminisced about life and such and then got to freezing Park City. Brrrr... that is all I have to say.
However, it was so nice to go to a performance and not be stressed, over whelmed, frightened, stupid, and/or like crying. I could just relax. I loved hearing the Christmas tunes and thinking about last year and how much fun it was. How much fun we had around Christmas and how much we got to know each other. It was one of my top 5 moments of Senior Year. Seriously. It was fun to see that.

But then to look at those Seniors, knowing how they were feeling- on the top of the world- but really they had no idea what was coming for them. They were clueless and had yet to experience the real world. They had it so easy but still complained about things like the temperature and singing the same 5 songs 3 times. Let me tell you guys, it's colder in Logan then Park City with more snow. You can deal. And I would give anything for the chance to sing in a choir like that again. Even if we sing the same song the whole time. The music is incredible and they didn't even realize.
It was also funny to watch them perform and see how easy it was all along to just smile and look like you are having a good time. And yet we struggled with that all year. Pathetic.
We returned on the bus and went to Training Table. mmm.. They need one of those in Logan. For sure.
Then we went to Mikes house where I finally saw Taylor, my fiance, not really but I call him that. It was fun to see him and know that he is doing well.

I went home at midnight. Yeah. That is a full 12 hours with Peter. Awesome.
So I returned to my high school and choir and I realized I was ready to leave. I was ready to move on to bigger and better things. I was ready even when I thought I'd never survive. I was ready.
