Guys, life has been insane this last week.
The house went up for sale Monday and we have at least 3 families come through every day since then.
When this happens we have to leave.
So basically I don't even live in my house.
When they come, they get an hour time frame so we have to be gone for an hour, not just the 15 minutes it takes them to walk through the house.
Then we do this at least 2 more times in a day.
So I'm never really allowed in my house.
We spend a lot of time just driving aimlessly around.
Then we add the fact that this is Mikes last week home.
So I always have to be out of my house, but I don't want to make any plans in case he calls and wants to do something.
He has so many people to see and hang out with and things to do.
But I don't want to miss out on any time so I just don't make plans so I don't have to ditch someone else.
Then to top it off, he went camping last weekend so I saw him Friday when we went to the Bee's game. Then after that I barely heard from him.
The first time I saw him since then was Tuesday after going through the temple.
I know that is only 4 days but that is a record for us. Really.
While he went through the temple on Tuesday, I got to babysit his niece and nephew for the afternoon.
They are the cutest.
Then we went to dinner with his family and just hung out that night.
And got snow cones. Of course.
Wednesday we were going to write his talk but we go to his house and his niece and nephew were there so we spent the next 3 hours playing Life and other board games. And getting tackled.
We finally started writing his talk and I quickly learned I was of no help. And that he really didn't need help so I just laid there, watching Drum Line. Yeah. That happened.
Thursday, we went golfing. Again. I learned this is how he relives stress. That explains why he goes so much.
Plus I like to ride in the cart and yesterday I got a nice sunburn too.
I'm a pretty bad caddy but I'm getting good at being the "flag pulling bimbo" as he calls it.
Then I came home and my aunt Cortney was here! From Texas! That was crazy, it even took me a while to recognize her.
So I spent the rest of the night talking with her.
Today, who knows what will happen. It's my mom's birthday. And I will wait around to see if Mike wants to do something.
Saturday, Kaydee is coming to stay with me and I'm super excited for that!
Sunday is Mike's farewell. Come if you want. It's at 9. And it's going to be crazy good. I promise. If you haven't heard his "story" for his mission, you are in for a treat, or at least free breakfast after.
Today is 5 days and counting...
Having it actually be June is a little scary. It seems more real...
